At 6:40pm on 9/23, our neighbor was detained by ICE near Communipaw and Suydam in Jersey City. He was found on the ground being manhandled by ICE agents shortly before an emergency vehicle arrived.
Later that night at jcmedcenter community members were told by the detained man that he was hit by an ICE vehicle. Community members inside the facility reportedly saw him shackled to his hospital cot while receiving treatment. After detainment and hospital discharge, community members recorded video that appeared to show his pants cut from his knee to address the injury he received. - sol.jerseycity
