ICE has purchased a new facility to be used a a detention facility in San Antonio Texas expected to become operational by spring 2027.
The property was previously known as the Oakmont 410 industrial warehouse. It is approximately 640,000 square feet, and purchased by DHS for 66 million
DHS has awarded a 17.3 million renovation contract to GardaWorld Federal Services to retrofit the warehouse and provide wraparound operational services. The contract timeline extends through August 2027.
