ICE vehicle ran plates of driver and said their first name over the cars loud speaker: Monday afternoon I drove up in front of an unmarked, heavily tinted Dodge Durango with no plates and a spotlight sitting at the pump. I showed them my Fuck ICE flag and left. Evidently they took that personally, because a few minutes later, parked across the highway, that same vehicle came over, passed me several times, and the driver said my first name over the loudspeaker just before driving off. We have never met.
The flag is protected speech. Federal vehicles are supposed to carry plates. A stranger in an unmarked SUV following you across the road, circling, running your plates, and announcing your name through a PA is the part worth noticing. Nobody in Washington and Frederick Counties should have to wonder who is driving the unmarked vehicle behind them.
