I suspect that undercover Federal agents have been/are surveilling the Rose Park located on Galisteo and Cordova in Santa Fe, NM.
I go there almost everyday to walk my dog and have come to see folks that are not, I believe from the neighborhood or from the city, conducting surveillance of the area. I had the occasion to talk to a small group of adult males sitting in the south end of the park on a bench as I was walking my dog.
I had the suspicion that they were trying to blend in, just hanging out, by their body language and talk, tone of voice and whatnot. I have worked around military police, while in the service, have seen under cover cops on school campuses as a teacher. Yesterday, I saw another group of males and one female hanging out about at half way point in the park, again, who did not appear or feel to me to be locals. That group was, at one point, in two smaller groups acting as the first group I described previously. Additionally, both times I witnessed the aforementioned, I saw the same large white van parked on the west side of the park with some activity near the van, to include a person getting into the van, after walking away from a group.
Again, all of the folks I described above were, in my opinion, not regulars who came to the park to walk their dogs or to just to hang out. I would like to think I have an over active imagination but also believe it is better to act on such a strong feeling, paranoid or not. !MANTENTE DESPIERTO!
